Active Directory is at the core of many organization's information systems. The Mainframe offers a number of methods to transfer Mainframe data to other platforms. In the past the most common way was using TCP/IP and the FTP protocol. The issue with this protocol is the data is transferred in the clear. This means that the data could be easily monitored on the network. If this data contains sensitive information and is going over the internet you could be exposing personal information to some criminal elements. [more] |
