The Information Services Division (ISD) has the authority to develop, bid and enter into professional services contract on behalf of all State agencies, boards and commissions. In an effort to make this process more efficient, ISD provides for the posting of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) on the Internet. The purpose of this site is to provide interested business partners with descriptions of our existing professional services contracts and current Requests for Proposals. Those interested in reviewing existing contracts my do so by linking under the heading of Existing Contracts.
In the case of professional services RFPs, ISD will utilize the vendor list provided by State Purchasing (http://www.purchasing.state.al.us). ISD reserves the right to add additional names to its list as necessary. It is recommended that companies interested in receiving notification of any professional services RFPs ensure their business is registered with State Purchasing (http://www.purchasing.state.al.us/vendor.htm). Professional services RFPs will be posted on this website available for download in both Adobe and MS Word formats.
Vendors should refer to specific RFP proposal response requirements, which will include submission of at least one printed and notarized copy of any proposal, and a copy of their proposal on CD. Each RFP will designate a specific individual responsible for that RFP. General questions can be directed to the
